As per the IR submitted by SC B the said unit is engaged in mfg. of Beer from malt, Broken rice, Hops. Previous consent has been obtained by the unit vide online No. HSPCB/Consent/ : 2804515AMBCTO1492575 Dated:01/04/2015 up to 31.03.2017. Unit has installed ETP for the waste water generated from Bottles/floor/vessel washing and spent wash section and the treated effluent is used in their own 8 Acre land for plantation and gardening. Unit has installed STP for the treatment of the domestic effluent. Unit is having boiler of 4 ton and its emissions are controlled through multi cyclone. Unit has submitted the analysis reports of ETP,STP, Boiler & Noise testing report of 500 KVA DG set from Board approved Lab M/s AAL, Sonepat and all the parameters are within the prescribed limit. Unit has submitted the environment statement, auto renewal form and AAQ reports. No hazardous waste generated from the process. In view of above it is recommended that CTO may be granted to the unit under Water and Air Act for the period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2022 with the conditions that unit will operate and maintain their ETP,STP & APCD efficiently and regularly. 2. Unit will not discharge any trade effluent outside their premises. 3. Unit will apply next CTO 90 days in advance of the expiry of the present CTO.

The case is incomplete due to the following reasons/shortcomings: 1. Status/Copy of last year"s HWM authorization not submitted. 2. Used lubricating oil generated from DG sets is covered under HWM Rules where as it has been reported that No hazardous waste generated, that need clarification. In view of above case is referred back for compliance of above observations and to resubmit the complete case along with reasoned recommendation as per policy

As observation raised by SEE-I (HO) regarding HWM Rules. Unit has applied under HWM Rules for spent oil generated from the DG set. And also uploaded the agreement copy with the oil recycler of M/s Universal Hydro Lubes, Karnal. Therefore, it is recommended that CTO may be granted to the unit under Water, Air Act and HWM Rules for the period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2022.

As recommended by RO, may if approved, grant the consent to operate under Water Act , 1974, Air Act,1981 and authorization for disposal of Hazardous waste under HWM Rules, 2016 for the period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2022 with usual terms and conditions specified by the board and recommended by RO along with following additional conditions: 1. Unit will keep all parameters with in prescribed limits by running and maintaining pollution control measures/ devices regularly and effectively. 2.The unit will comply with the HWM Rules. 3. Unit will maintain the record of Haz. waste in form 3 and will submit the Annual Report under HWM Rules,2016 by 30th June every year. 4. The unit will submit the Environment Statement by 30th September every year. 5.Unit will deposite balance consent fee if any found due at any stage. 6.Unit will utilize their treated effluent as declared in their application. 7. Unit will maintain the log book for ETP/STP and APCM REGULARLY and will submit the copy of same to the Board on Quarterly basis. 8.Unit will apply for renewal of consent/Authorization at least 90 days before expiry date of the consent/Authorization.

Recommended for grant of consent to operate the unit for the period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2022 under the provisions of Air and Water Acts and authorization under HWM Rules with the conditions applicable, as proposed.
